Sept. 2013 Image - "Cashing In Kilroy"

While digital manipulation and image generation have become a common staple in the art world, grafitti artists seem to prefer the traditional mediums and truly tactile surfaces for their work.  However, the immediacy and ease of applying computer-based effects to change colors, saturation values and other image qualities makes image experimentation rewarding and even fun.  This image differs greatly from the original on canvas, having been passed through a built-in camera color filter and manipulated in Photoshop CS6 to add vibrancy.  While nearly all of the images on this website have been scrupulously reviewed to assure they reflect his art work’s real-world look, Nic 707 wanted to post this enhanced image as an example of some of the color variations he likes to explore.  To see an image of the original artwork, click here.
